What We Collect

When you use FaxSaaS to send a fax, we collect:

• The document(s) you upload (temporarily)
• The recipient's fax number
• Your email address (if provided, for delivery confirmation)
• Payment information (processed by Stripe; we never see your full card number)

How We Use Your Data

• To send your fax to the specified recipient
• To send you delivery confirmation emails
• To process your payment
• To maintain audit logs for security and compliance

Data Retention

Uploaded documents are automatically deleted within 1 hour of confirmed delivery. Documents for failed or abandoned faxes are deleted within 24 hours. We do not retain copies of your documents beyond these periods.

Fax numbers and email addresses are stored in encrypted form. Audit logs (which do not contain document content, fax numbers, or email addresses) are retained indefinitely for compliance purposes.

Data Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and sensitive fields are encrypted at rest. We use Fernet symmetric encryption for personally identifiable information. IP addresses are stored only as irreversible SHA-256 hashes.

Third-Party Services

• Stripe processes payments. Stripe Privacy Policy

Your Rights

Since we don't create accounts and auto-delete files, most data is transient. If you need to request data deletion, contact us at privacy@faxsaas.com with your tracking ID.
